In Philippians chapter 2, Paul admonished the Philippians to "do nothing out of selfish ambition (rivalry) or vain conceit." If we take this to heart, it can raise some questions. One of them being: If selfish ambition is wrong, is there such thing as good ambition? In this week's text we see that there is such thing as good and Godly ambition. Taken again from Paul's own life, he encourages us to pursue what truly is worth our ultimate aim. What does Godly ambition look like in our lives? How do we know we have it, and what is the result?
