One of the most memorable moments in the life and ministry of Jesus is when he washes his disciples feet on the last night of his life. Jesus did this for several reasons, one of which was to illustrate what was about to be accomplished the next day on the cross--the forgiveness and washing away of our sins. What does this illustration teach us about forgiveness? How does it help us understand one of the most important truths pertaining to Jesus' life, death, and resurrection?
