We all want to shine. The question is, will we reflect the image of God as we were created to do, or will we seek to exalt ourselves? How we answer this question has enormous ramifications on our lives and the lives of others. In fact, answering it wrong got us into this mess in the first place. The story of Joseph's exaltation is one of the clearest pictures as to how God desires to exalt us in life. How might we let go of the tyranny of self-exaltation and pursue God's path to greatness?
