"Love in action is a harsh and dreadful thing compared with love in dreams." (Dostoyevsky) Loving well is the goal of the Christian life, because it is the chief attribute of God. While many people want more of God's love in their life and to reflect this love it can be relegated to dreams instead of reality. How does the Holy Spirit create and cultivate this love in our lives? 1 John 4 gives us the answer.
