The idea of divine judgment is unpopular today.  For many, they think it archaic and irrelevant to their lives. And yet, if there is no divine judgment, where does that leave the countless injustices people experience in this life?  The flood account is one of the most vivid expressions of God's divine judgment of human violence and wickedness.  It is also a picture of God's salvation through judgment. What is it for? And why does it matter today more than we realize?
