Every person struggles with dysfunction in their family, because there is sin in every family. Genesis 25 traces the death of Abraham and the birth of Isaac and Rebekah's children, Jacob and Esau. After Abraham, the next family to carry on the promises of God is nothing short of dysfunctional. What does this tell us about God? What does it tell us about family? Where is there hope for all the families of the earth, as God has promised from the beginning?
