The closest thing to a "manifesto" that we have from Jesus as to what he wanted his followers to be and to do is his Sermon on the Mount. What does it really mean to be a Christian? What marks the Christian, Christ-following life?

It seems today, at least in Western society, that one of the great temptations of the church is to fall into superficiality. This is not a new problem, but it is one that needs to be continually addressed. For some, the life of the Christian has been replaced with cultural and nominal faith. For other's, there is just a lack knowledge as to what Jesus actually said. Because of this, the church is suffering, but so is the gift of the church to the world. As Jesus said, his followers are the "The salt of the earth", and "The light of the world." How to we rediscover and re-live out all that Jesus intended? Join us as we explore the greatest sermon ever preached.
