Perhaps the most contercultural aspect of Jesus was his humility.  The one who deserved to be served, served others.  In this weeks text, Jesus demonstrates his service to his disciples in a very profound way.  On the last night of his life, he washes their feet.  Why did he do it?  And what mark does this leave on his followers?  What mark should this continue to leave on the church today?
