10 days after the ascension of Jesus, the disciples waited for the Holy Spirit. We often discover what we are made of in times of waiting. What are our priorities, where does our trust and hope lie? Acts 1:12-26 gives us an incredible picture of the early church and how in their own waiting they were preparing themselves for the power of the Holy Spirit. The same is true in our lives. How can we wait well? What does it look like for us to have a posture before God that enables the power of the Holy Spirit to work and move?
