"MINE!" A common word children use as the begin to discover the world around them, and their relation to it. It's easy to think that all that we have is truly ours. Sadly, we can do the same with our salvation. We can do the same with the gospel. In the text this week, Jesus encounters the disciples for the very first time after his resurrection. What is remarkable is that the minute he encounters them and they beleive, he immediately sends them on a world wide mission, teaching them that the gospel is for them, but it doesn't stop with them. What does it mean to be on mission with Jesus? What does it mean to be sent the minute we are saved?
